Clinton Richmond holds a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling from Western Washington University, and is a nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). He also holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University in human services with a minor in communication sciences and disorders.
Mr. Richmond has also worked in vocational rehabilitation since 2009. He started working as a recruitment specialist / job coach for a non-profit organization, Work Opportunities, finding and maintaining employment for people with disabilities while working with the Snohomish County office of Developmental Disabilities and the Everett & Lynnwood Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. He has been working as a vocational rehabilitation counselor with the WA Dept. of Labor and Industries since July 2011. He works with people throughout early intervention services through retraining. Mr. Richmond particularly enjoys doing on-site job analyses, and working with workers with disabilities at the end of retraining services to develop resumes and coaching individuals to demonstrate better job interviewing skills.
