Biographical Info
David Day graduated from Western Washington University in 2010 with a degree in Psychology. He worked various jobs before he began his career as a Vocational Counselor in February 2016. After working in the field of rehabilitation counselor for six years, he obtained his Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Western Washington University in August of 2022.
He is currently a nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and a Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS).
Mr. Day has worked as a vocational rehabilitation counselor with the Department of Labor and Industries since 2016. He prides himself in advocating for the rights of his clients and keeping up-to-date on legislation that affects his clients. One of Mr. Day’s greatest strengths is the ability to find employers who are willing to facilitate on the job training for his clients. Mr. Day’s greatest focus in his work is to empower his clients, help build their self efficacy, and provide them resources to help them succeed in the pursuit of their goals.
